So sorry to hear about the fire, March 1, 2024. I’m so glad The Mercer Report documented this version of what we all hope will have been only Version 1 of Hartland. 💔 Here’s to Version 2! ❤️🩹 Blessings to you all.🙏🏼

I am so excited, I found the Covered Bridge chips at Home Sense in Ottawa. They are not cheap but are they ever good, Creamy Dill Pickle was our choice, not salty or oily. Thank you Mr. Rick for your report WTG Albright Family !

They sell them at Dollarama. It's weird to get a delicious snack from Dollarama. Most of their stuff is crap but covered bridge chips are the good stuff.

Our family used to stop by Hartland all the time on our way to Saint John. It was fun to go through the covered bridge too. I had no idea that Hartland has a chip factory. That's really cool.
@Taeolas Жыл бұрын
Humpty Dumpty Potato Chips were made on the Hartland side of the valley, just up the hill from the school all through the 80's/90's (not sure when it started probably in the 60's). The factory was closed sometime after Humpty Dumpty was bought out by Lays I think; I can't remember when exactly. But Hartland itself has a long history of chip making behind it, so it's great that Covered Bridge chips are being made there and doing so fantastically.

@CearaQC9 жыл бұрын
Viennery I had a guy try to get them so they could be sold in a vending machine and he told me they said no. Maybe he didn't really try. Hard to know.
@Viennery9 жыл бұрын
Well i've never seen them in vending machines, but I wonder if that has more to do with licensing issues. Usually vending machines are partly paid for by companies like "lays" for example, and are only allowed to sell lays products, much like how Coca-Cola and Pepsie will cover the costs of adding a fridge in convenience stores, provided they only carry coke and pepsi products.
@CearaQC9 жыл бұрын
Well this was for a machine owned by the town. Mostly employees use the machine at work. Also Provigo and IGA here in Gaspe do not have Covered Bridge chips.

Wonder how long it will be before men have to start wearing mesh over their chests for fear of a hair falling into the mix. Ridiculous. Aside from that I really want to get my hands on a bag of those lobster flavoured chips.
@dennis0belanger9 жыл бұрын
They already wear t-shirts, which keep their chest hair out of the finished product. There is nothing ridiculous about keeping hair out of peoples food.
@shewolf519 жыл бұрын
Well, as long as they wear shirts when they make potato chips then I don't think it'll be an issue. Especially since I don't know of many workplaces that would allow their employees to be shirtless anyway.
