Embroidery Garden February Demo - Couching

During my February demo, I will show you how I stitched 'hello' on this pillow using thick yarn and how I created the file. In PE Design and Perfect Embroidery Pro, I'll demo how to turn an SVG into a couching file and 2 ways of stitching it out.

Thanks for the Video .... I've just started learning to couch - I love this method. You are not using a zig zag to secure the yarn, just a straight stitch (triple stitch)? ... If you used a narrower yarn, less dense yarn, could you still use the straight stitch to secure your yarn? Also what is the name of the glue pen? Thank you.

I love this and can’t wait to try. I’m curious (maybe I’m jumping the gun because I’m midway thru the video) is it possible to glue the yarn down then top the whole thing with water soluble stabilizer, then let it rip on the machine?

That's not recommended. This is a slow process and you want to be by your machine during the entire stitch out
