I don't understand why the rajang coil has no driftsmelt slot 😕 I also got focus 5 last night it is amazing for bow builds i know you always say that and it's meta but as a person who finally got a focus 5 build along with not being that good a bow it makes the game play so much smoother and easier to get off my shots in time! Paying attention to your videos allows us to get some of the best information to play the game smoothly 🔥

Its to balance it out. Focus 5 at Lv. 3 is ridiculously good. If it got a slot it would be pretty broke lol. They might do more things in the future for past grade 8 so we'll just have to wait and see.

Agreed. Basic stuff on the website is easy (seeing how much material to make a Zinogre LS from 8.5 -> 9.5), but a lot of other stuff is confusing and has no tutorial (that I'm aware of).

@KINGOFCHARMANDERS I only have 3 Driftsgems 2 Amber and 1 Cyan and haven't even looked to see if I even have anything I can attach a skill to yet so I haven't done any Driftsmelting yet besides I'd rather have all the details of this feature as well as equipment I can attach skills to before I do any Driftsmelting don't want to waste resources lol like you said don't do anything just to have it so I'm taking the advice and finding out everything I can before I make a decision and besides at this point in time I might not even have anything yet I can attach a skill to so why do something just to have it if I don't have a good use for it

What does the damage lvl4 at charge lvl3 part mean, still getting into bows and I just wanted to understand it better, is that because the lvl 3 and 4 charge of say the kushala are spread lv4 and pierce lv4?

That means you can shoot Lv 4 damage with only two blinks (charge lvl 3). Usually it’s three blinks (charge lvl 4). This makes a huge difference when you compare them side by side and why those weapons are so good!

Correct you can wait for one blink sidestep and you’ll be at Lv. 4 with the C3 D4 weapons. You still have to time the step where the 2nd blink will complete though.

It seems like they have balanced HBG around multiplayer. Solo player here so I'm a bit sad about that. In multiplayer hunts the HBG REALLY excels but in one on one encounters it struggles to keep up DPS since you are reacting to monster attacks so much. That being said the status ones I've been running with really seem to be able to punch above their weight.

I’m a solo player as well. I really wanted at least some form of strafe firing. As a main series enjoyer of HBG it’s reduced to a slow clunky kill fast or get punished with a lot of errors. At least the status ones you mentioned do work especially for multiplayer hunts.

Insane to me that with a weapon that requires more risk, slower roll etc, that it still comes far from the bow. In the main series HBG was king if you didn't get hit, should be the same here.

Right? That’s what I liked so much about it. You were a literal moving tank. Main series having more space and abilities made it so good even if it was slower than the LBG.

IMO, any G5 weapon that can defeat a 8* monster using no Special is great/meta like the Black Diablos bow (greatest ex). 😂😂 But HBG isn't that great, too many flaws. Looking forward for a buff for future update.

I’m…not a fan of the Black Diablos HBG. It will do the job like most things, sure…but it’s just…boring!😅 I’m having much more fun literally blowing everything up with my elemental HBGs.😁
