B. Cox practically interviewed himself. My boy was speed talking at points. He’s beyond passionate. The music is in him and he’s in the music. It’s beautiful that him and JD had that instant chemistry to create what they did for Jagged Edge. I would consider that a divine connection. Jagged Egde had me in a chokehold in high school. I remember B. Cox from making the bad and for writing for Mariah. Def a legend. Wish we found out what he spent the 20k on or the $7,500. Thank you R&B Money. This interview is Hittin different- when he breaks down “it was THE soundtrack; records were Part of your living room” … “it was a different kind of attachment”, Maaaan my eyes watered thinking of Friday nights and weekends in the early 80s as a little girl in my apartment in NY and the gatherings my parents had and the Unwinding from the week that Always happened… and MUSIC WAS ALWAYS THERE at the Center- those were the Best times and shaped my entire life♥️ MUSIC will Always be the Love letter my Dad gave to me and I am SO grateful🙏🏽

Yes. That was my favorite part. I remember Saturday mornings in the 80s whereas if you walk past any house in Philly, you would hear: Prince, MJ, Debarge, LL Cool J, Run DMC amongst others. Then the type of music played at Family Reunions: Gap Band, SOS Band, Loose Ends. Then on Sundays, you would hear Gospel Music: The Winans, The Clark Sisters, The Hawkins singer.

Interviewing the newer artists is cool but I’m an 80s baby and a music head so to hear the come up of Brian Michael Cox, Johnta Austin etc and to even hear about writers and producers who I never heard of like J.
