I'm fixing to start this project again using Lion brands Heartland yarn. I figured out the gauge swatch to be using a 6.0 hook. I just finished another one ( the same Journey afghan using a 5.0 hook and the center is like a bowl. It doesn't lay flat. I never realized how important the " Guage swatch" is.😮 Thank you for your tutorials. Your designs are wonderful. ❤❤

I purchased the book and I love reading about the history behind the Crochet Crowd. I think I joined soon after you were sponsored by Red Heart ( when they were owned Coats & Clark before Yarnspirations bought them) and have stayed since then. I’ll save these videos to a playlist so I can follow along after the holidays. You don't need to... if you have the. yarn on hand, you may be able to make it work. We did the prototype with #4 Medium Weight Yarn.

Hi Mikey, I am starting this with 3 colors of Paintbox chunky but, I love the colors you chose at random in the video. Just looking at the thumbnails makes my heart sing. Tried this 4x cannot keep the appropriate count only got 15 v stitches. Another Got to row 22 had to many flag looking stitches 5 extra. Like how! The other one was so easy
