this happens because of a bug when the game is calculating the turn number. for some reason, a recent update added a bug where certain cast on draw cards would cause the turn number to go up. this is a problem because the scrolls of wonder are one of those cards. every time they are drawn it updates the turn number and eventually once you have drawn enough of them. the game recognizes that it has hit the turn limit and ends the game with a draw.

It overflowed the stack. The "fail safe" for it is to have the game result in a tie. But I guess clearing the stack would also feel pretty bad of you had draws on the stack.

actually this happens because of a bug added in a recent update. the action of drawing and casting a scroll of wonder is counted as a turn so every time he draws a scroll, it updates the turn timer this makes it so that even though it may be turn 15 or something, you can draw enough scrolls of wonder to hit the turn limit and the game ends as a draw

I'm guessing the game has some sort of system to track how many actions have happened at once, and puts them all in a queue to go up on the side board, after all actions have been completed. Something like 1) Vargoth cast deck of wonders 2) Vargoth cast deck of wonders 3) Vargoth cast deck of wonders 4) Scroll of wonders cast X .... But it can only track so many actions, and once you overflowed that stack it just crashed and was like "That's a draw"

The last one makes sense. But I thought this happens because the animations are so long that the turn timer gets confused and starts counting the next turn. For those who have seen the rope appearing at the start of your turn and burning in 5 seconds, they know what I'm talking about.

Markmckz got a max deck limit of scrolls and it crashed every time, I think there are so many spells that something usually conflicts and an effect never resolves when this happens, causing a match crash which gets taken as a tie.

This is a glitch that recently appeared around the time of Uldum. The basic premise is that "casts when drawn" effects for some reason increase the number of turns that have happened in regards to the turn counter. This means that after a certain number of casts when drawn cards are drawn the game ends in a draw because there have been too many "turns." The game was probably already over when the cinderstorm didn't go off, but the game kept going untill he couldn't keep drawing cards.
