Amazing school, nice that it wasn’t trashed. So much effort and workmanship went into these old buildings. I have a question though.. how come you never show basements/furnace rooms/equipment rooms/attics stuff Iike that? Just curious. Like wouldn’t there be a pump room for the pool, for example? I’d love to see some massive old boilers, pumps, etc

It feels like buildings have souls sometimes... and you have a school that was just filled with light and laughter and kids learning, socializing every day for so many years until one day.. power is turned off, building goes dark and cold, chalkboards, desks, lockers, auditorium all just decaying and unused, no longer needed. Meanwhile outside a broken window the world just carries on without the school. It makes me feel a way I can’t really describe.

Love that old gym... reminded me alot of the school i went to as a kid... they had the same sort of brickwork and intricate tiling in the pool room... sadly they tore it down and added a new addition on a few years ago... Modern drywall and PVC trim can never compare to the intricate tile and woodcraft you see in these old buildings....There's little craftsmanship anymore.

Rob, thank you for spending time with us on KZbin. I hated school and took correspondence school when I turned 16 and in which I got much better grades; and because I believed it was better, I home schooled my kids. I registered it as Christian Life Home School. They sometimes have told me they feel like they've missed something, but their friends would come and try to join our school. I would have been glad to teach them but for their parents. Some of them have died in their teens from accidents and overdoses. I've learned much from your videos. You are more of a teacher and a historian than you give yourself credit for. 🙂

Abandoned places are generally depressing in many ways, yet Robb can always find something that he likes, loves, or finds cool, in every exploration. This is what makes RnK All Day so unique. It's not just about urbex, it's about finding positivity where you wouldn't expect it.

The gym and other features of that school is amazing-no vandalism or serious decay-it’s like the instructors and students went on a long lunch break-never to return.Would like to see shots of the school shop classes and the mechanical equipment such as boilers and chillers.also shots of stage machinery-equipment on the stages.

Another great exploration! This school was obviously located in Ohio (an Ohio flag was on a poster that you showed). I also attended jr./sr. high school in Ohio and would speculate that the "In-School Suspension Rooms" were actually "Instrumental Practice Rooms" where individual students could practice their music. My school also had three in a row, just like this one did.

Nice Video. That School must have been in a nice neighborhood --AKA Rich Neighborhood. That would explain the Pool, and the Lack of Graffiti. It's too bad they just let Schools like that Rot away, they could always turn them into something else that would benefit the neighborhood it is in.

Great place and video. So nice without the vandalism. My tiny H.S. wasn't a tenth of the size of that. They tried the in-School suspension for the first time when I was in H.S. One kid's Dad showed up and took his kid home, screaming at the Principle, “If you're not teaching my Son then send him the F home!!!”. This guy was the Welder for the local Highway Dept. so he left a slight impression ha ha. So my friends and I stayed in this little windowless room with just a table and a few chairs. They actually thought leaving 4-5 teenage hoodlums in that room alone all day would end well. I left with a pocket full of nuts, bolts and a few screws. The only thing holding everything together at the end of the day was gravity. Needless to say, in-School suspensions were suspended until my generation had all moved on. And not to worry Rob, if you're like me you learned far more outside of School than you would've had, even had you stayed full time. The more I learn about you the more I find we have in common. Hopefully this video is an indication of things to come. Cheers!!!

Enjoyed this video and most on your channel. You do a nice job of sharing the character and architecture of these places. When you add the history behind the abandoned building, it makes it more interesting. Without the stories behind it, it’s just a pile of rubble for the scrappers to haul off. Keep up the great videos of these historic buildings and try to add their stories when you can!

I was Notoriously known for Cutting Classes and even whole days of School. The Very First Time I ever Ditched School for an Entire Day was when I was only in 2nd Grade lol. I was standing at the Bus Stop in the Apartment Complex I lived in at the time and saw the Bus coming from down the road and right then and there decided I don't wanna go to School and I hid behind the Dumpster. Bus came stopped and pulled away and then I just hung out walking around exploring by myself all over the complex. I got bored half way through the day and went back to my apartment cause my Mom wasn't home and I was riding my 3 wheeler tricycle around the sidewalk and then all of a sudden I hear my Mom Yell Jason what are you doing home ??? I was like Uhhh I dunno Lol. But yeah I got busted. Also whenever I was assigned to ISS we just had it in a regular class room. We didn't have special rooms for Inner School Suspension.

What a great video, Robb!! A real waste of a school site to be left untouched, should be sold for housing. Must be 1960's style school. Take care...

Can you reveal the date the school was built. It appears to be 50's or 60's. It is a cool explore thank you.
