I have created an ISO image of the MAP, as I couldn't get the dual layer DVD to work. But now what I'm missing is the map tool that needs to be burnt to a cd. Can you help me with this? Which website are you referring to when you stated "everything is written on that website. map tool will create cd which eneble sd card update. I followed instruction from that program."

Hi I did this then stupidly turned the key in the ignition - now when I insert the CD nothing happens - I think I need to reformat the HDD, any ideas how I could do this? thanks!

Aurangzaib Baloch just update with the firmware cd, let it install and it will be fine after the new firmware. But you have to update the navigation afterwards, because of the software update your hdd is wiped.

Ok but did you put the same file "maptool" on both the cd and the sd card or there are different files.

I do this on my 2010 Tiguan RNS 510 after updated firmware at 5238 and now I have V17 map 2020!!! Fantastic and also autovelox!!! 👍
