Thanks for the video, after following your Toolbox video this one worked as you described - on my mode in Service Mode (3:02 into video) there are items below Function enabling ... that allow you to go into test mode without holding the Menu for 10 seconds. All sorted for larger maps. Thanks

Never mind, I read that the error is caused by the different CID of the SD card, to remove it I should buy one with a custom CID but since everything works fine as I already said I will leave it like that.

@@mrfixpl thanks a lot man, did everything for the navigation sd lock and the carplay on my vw caddy and everything works. also remove the faultcode of the software worked fine! just 1 fault code of the navi but now i'm sure that is nothing. thanks a lot man, you're a legend. and saved a lot of money. i had also issues with the touchscreen and if i would repear it by vw it would cost me 1000 euro's, i changed the screen myself for just 15 euros and thanks to the videos of you i have everything working!

Hi. I have a seat with mib Navi, I only connected the sod card to my computer and got corrupted, the car is not recognizing anymore the card, neither windows. I recovered the files from the card with some recovery software but the structure of the files not. Are you please so kind to send me how it looks the file structure, eg what directories are there on the regular original sod card, so I can put the files back exactly in those directories . What about systems with mib 2 high? The menu is different.

MIB2 High does not have CID-Lock. You can use any SD card or USB drive for maps update.

Hello, Please I have an issue with mu audi a3 2017 specifically the sd card. I pulled the sd card and inserted it again but an "lecture is impossible" message is displayed on the dashboard and as a result I can't link my phone with bluetooth to my car before pulling it out , everything was working well. great video. Can you do some tutorial video how to update/activate maps to 2021/22 in Audi A6 C7 with RMC unit which is very common especially in UK where I live. 90% cars comes with RMC, not many with MiB2 platform.

Check software train version. If it ends with "T" (for example _0245T) it's Technisat. If it ends with "D" (example 0652D) it's Delphi.

Hi! I had the same problem and I simply solved it by introducing the SD card in UNLOCK mode. Then it patched. Try this, let us know if works. Cheers!

MIB2 STD (Discover Media) can not play videos. You can only use CarPlay/AndroidAuto and play videos from other devices on the screen.

Code needs to be generated. But you need to patch the unit first. If device is not patched, it will reject the self-generated code.
