Ah this was my favorite movie when I was a kid. Now this is just too FUN! Just so over taken things, cars rolling around, chasing its wheel and that one fool just running all around xD

The priest checking the oil in his Volkswagen and making it look like he was celebrating mass was very funny. Jacques Tati was utterly brilliant and the greatest comedy brain since Stan Laurel.

How you wish all accidents could end like this. No road-rage at all.

Road rage was certainly parodied in this film though. ;)

Tati’s films were available in a DVD collector’s box a few years ago, which I bought and have.

Very clever indeed... so sad to see the injuries to these memorable machines. The hurmans seem to be enjoying their morning wake-up stretch, no?

Haha found it! I have this film for over 20 yrs on videotape... quality not so good anymore. Not to be found on You Tube or somewhere else on DVD.... The name Tati, was not clear to me. The film is strange, funny, surprising, and for me as a car lover, great to watch. In 1971 I was 10 yrs of age. Can't remember how things were on the streets of the Netherlands then.. Now I see. One thing I remember though... in a restaurant, on the highway, a lot of motercycle guys and girls arrived to have dinner on the table beside ours. (My parents, my sister and me.) One thing catched my attention. A young women with a motercycle suit... with nothing under it.... I could see the lines of her breasts... Was very stange to me as a good Catholic boy... (smile)
