That is most likely a fault in the emulation itself, as my game for some reason runs really damn slow sometimes, but the hitboxes are accurate.

The Touge Max games are like the touge racing equivalent of classic-era Need For Speed: The tracks are based on real Japanese mountain roads, BUT are configured like a closed race track disguised like legitimate public roads. JUST like those tracks from the classic-era Need For Speed (EXCEPT R&T: The Need For Speed 95', & Porsche Unleashed).

@@enisx9585 Yeah, did a little digging around, Phoenix was merely a publisher whereas a developer company named "Atlus" made the game. It seems to be a Japanese exclusive but I think they got Phoenix to get an English version out there.

You'd reckon you'd associate that name with a game like Burnout or those other kinds of racing games where damage is involved, but no.
