Nice bat rep! It looks like Old World armies may increasingly be cavalry and monsters and minimal infantry..

an easy counter to a dragon lord though is a combat block with combat res, and someone that can withstand the hit from the dragon lord. I see a spot for infantry in that. Outside that the low charge ranges for infantry makes it increasingly difficult to focus on infantry only units.

The changes to the classic “dart” of Ogres are one of my favourite parts about this game so far. They can triple move, running in a line together, and that is good. But they can’t charge, they only get one Ogre’s worth of attacks, and their reduced frontage has no effect on enemy combat effectiveness until you get to real elites who just run them over anyways.

Good sh**t brother great bat-rep! Da Boyz are awesome! Remember you can reform after a successful overrun (take a leadership check and reform, it's in the FAQs). Those Boarboys could have been hot and ready for a charge on turn 3 facing those Ogres in the back!

Yeah no maybe not, difficult to judge. But reforming them right after that overrun move you could charge them on your turn 3

I know the TO, been to his friends house to play many times in the past. He knows my minis lol. Also adepticon isn't a gw sanctioned event, there is no rules against using 3d models, alternate companies etc. But I believe it is wysiwyg

Three Stone Horns ! In the legacy PDFs, stone horns do not have the stomp rules, is there an errata ?

Awesome batrep James! Great to see you back at it. How do you like your list so far? Played against something very similar to your list not that long ago and I felt that the small body count worked against the OnG list.

I havent been able to come up with a horde list I like unfortunately. The slow charges on infantry is a huge detriment. I saw a battle report where the guy had 50 or so savages with characters in the list and a massive 24 orc unit of boar Boyz. But basically that was the list. I don't see how those types of list could get around flyers. Fighting someone like my friend Phil karl he would easily eat my orcs up with his double dragon, chariot star tomb king list

@@philkarl9726 Sounds roquefort cheesy to me mate haha ;D and not gunna lie. Happy that James is spanking that list ;) but nice to hear that both of you are enjoying Old World. I am crossing my fingers however that we will step away more from hero hammer with maxed out character points spent and rely more on our troop choices. For this to happen we will have to create a solid tournament document for objectives and such. We are currently working on one that relies on banners alot sort of similar to how scoring works in t9a.
