Chaos Space Marines vs Orks | Warhammer 40k Battle Report

Hi all, a few of you have pointed out we forgot Ork Boyz have a 5+ Sv, so still would have been able to get a 6+ Sv vs AP-1. We both missed that. **SPOILERS BELOW** ... ... Fortunately there was a grand total of about 20 of these missed saves in Rounds 3 and 4, so realistically maybe 4 Orkz would have survived to carry on fighting. Not making a huge difference, but next time we'll remember 😅

The thing that´s stopping me from collecting Chaos Space Marines is the fact they are smaller than the imperial marines. I dont understand why did they make the new csm terminators and then made new terminators for the imperium which are true scale. From a lore perspective I can understand Primaris being a bit bigger than normal marines, but it takes away from the fear-factor of the CSM which they absolutely are suppose to be, big scary supersoldiers that worship the dark gods. Now they are just minimarines who are crazy.

The Unbridled Carnage Stratagem - it makes Critical Hits trigger on 5+, hence activating Sustained 🙂

We’ve switched it to a seasonal release as there wasn’t much interest/support for the game. We’ll return when a new edition drops or a battletome etc. Next up, we’ll be covering the Old World for a bit when it’s released :)

It wouldn't have made a huge difference as a lot of my stuff was AP-2. Most of the AP-1 was dead by Turn 3 anyways 😅 - Chef

Cool. Not really up on chaos as I rarely face them and even if it was only -1 ap I can count on 1 hand the amount of 6 up saves I make through a game. The only reason I mentioned it was because you were saying it was -1 but I know from watching your reports that you know what your doing.
