Just thought I’d swing by five years later, and let whoever needs to hear this know to never stop dreaming. I saw this right when she uploaded, and cried because of how beautiful Hawaii is, and how I told myself one day I’ll be able to go there. YESSS!!! It has this "commercial" vibe. I swear I clicked because I thought it was a personal vlog. lol It was a great video but very awkward and comfortable at times. There were soooooo many parts where it was just obvious pose like "Oh I'm naturally doing this". I know I know... gotta have those angles right? I've seen numerous Hana vlogs and nobody is like this. But I get it... Sponsored. Great for what it is though.

I really enjoyed driving the Hana highway with my dad. We stopped for banana bread at the place u guys stopped at, and omg it was the best banana bread I have ever tasted. Although we did not go to mings pond we did make it Hana, it kind of small but they have a beautiful red sand beach. Then we kept driving and stopped at a beach where I almost lost my flip-flop! Anyway, it's so special that u guys decided to film the Hana highway. Everyone who reads this its is a life-changing experience who no one should miss out on. I love you, Shay! Keep being your amazing self and keep trying to show people new places to visit. U truly are an inspiration to me in my young life! Thanks for being you!

My favorite place to be back home in Hawaii is on the Northshore of Oahu, but on Maui I love the Lavender farms where you can get lavender lemonade and organic lavender lotion. It's so quiet and so serene you literally feel like nothing in life matters anymore besides life itself.

Lol my brother is stationed in Hawaii and he talked me into "doing what the locals do," translation jumping off s cliff into unknown waters where I was met by a large turtle!! I almost fainted when I saw it and my brother and his fellow marines could not stop laughing while i panicked to safety! Have fun but watch out for those turtles! lol

I know this is an ad, i dont mind brands sponsoring a video and you having your product in it, but this just kinda felt like a 10 min commercial. Its just too professional 🙈 i love watching vlogs and shaycations that have more of a personal point of view, thats what makes them good in my opinion. And i kinda get a little defensive when its that well done and you know what to say and to show the product. I would propably be more likely to try a product if it seemed more real. Love you, always fun to watch your videos, ad or not 😊

I don't mind that she gets sponsored for her videos and has to show the product but Ma2492 explains it well when she explains that it's too perfect aka too staged! But to each their own, I certainly still enjoyed the video (I mean it's Hawaii!!!💕) I just thought some bits were a bit awkward and staged.

My suggestion for where you should visit on your trip is to not visit anywhere! Just pick a road drive, turn when you want, and explore! There are amazing things all over every one of the Hawaiian islands and the best way to embrace the culture is to get lost in it! Btw I you inspire me so much, you are a huge role model to me!

Oahu has the dole pineapple plantation!! So beautiful. I stayed at waikiki beach right next to a "dead" volcano, Diamond Head, that you can climb. Hawaii is so amazing and definitely worth going back.
