What people don't get about naruto one piece both like dragonball was they were all started before 2000 so kids grew up with those mangas like comics as outcasts with no friends so it means a lot in japan for those characters to get animated and given this much effort and care because people working boruto probably grew up since 1999 reading naruto monthly for years before it got good or serious cause the exams were not until 2001 aka the expansion of the cast and there was no anime until 2002 and out west we didn't get the dub until 2005 ....give the girl characters more respect...girls grew up loving hinata and she loves the mc...thus they get a happy ending...period...

If you watch the fillers you can actually pinpoint when this exactly happens! There is a filler which Ino finds Sakura but she kinda has a memory loss and makes Hinata wear sexy clothes and covers Neji's eyes trying to remember! At the end of the day she sees her parents, crys and gains her memory. It was this world's Sakura that switched place with ours so the movie happened the same time as that filler episode

Suraj was totally right when he said “Tobi just created the Matrix”, and even though these two technically are not Naruto’s real parents, this IS how they would’ve acted if they were still around, and it’s EXACTLY how they were when they were alive, especially Kushina’s temper. Road to Ninja was great for a number of reasons, not the least of which was it giving us the viewers a window into what might have been.

I know a lot of people may prefer The Last as the best Naruto movie since it’s canon but for me, it’s Road to Ninja. Precisely because like you said, this shows a lot of what ifs and what could’ve beens and I find it more interesting. Minato and Kushina would definitely act like this towards Naruto had they’ve been with him growing up except for the last part where Naruto and the Normies realized that the real Minato would never abandon a comrade and prioritize the safety of the village with no hesitations. He would not back down just like the Minato in this limited Tsukuyomi. And that’s what made Naruto appreciate his real parents more. They died for a real cause but Naruto is their legacy.

Menma having black hair was one of the distortions. He and Naruto being the same person, and Naruto being an interdimensional interloper is why his presence caused the kind of negative resonance it did with Menma. This being part of the distortion effect Tobi talked about is why Menma's hair turned Minato yellow at the same time the jutsu keeping Naruto and Sakura there was broken.

Its canon in the sense that Kishimoto did write the story for it , even had it tie into a manga chapter/ uses canon material from the main series , it just doesnt affect the overall main story

This movie takes place roughly after episode 250 of shippuden i think.......according to google Kishimoto (the creator of Naruto) had no involvement in any of the Naruto movies except for three, Road to Ninja: Naruto, The Last: Naruto and Boruto: Naruto the Movie. But the only movie that is considered canon is, The Last: Naruto the Movie is considered canon.

The Boruto Movie IS canon. Its a nice way to bookend Shippuden. Unless you wanna continue the story in which case you ignore the Boruto Movie and go right into the show which ends up adapting and expanding the movie plot to fit the shows canon of events. There's also the fact that both Naruto/Sasuke vs Momoshiki are different somewhat and they're both awesome in their own ways so I'd say give it a watch regardless.

This movie, like other moments, is why many of us hated Sakura and thanked God that Naruto stayed with Hinata, here Sakura shows that despite having lived a tiny fragment of Naruto's lonely life, she does not feel sympathy for him, abandoning him his birthday at the end of the movie. Also for those who say that the relationship between Hinata and Naruto was forced, it seems that they have no eyes, from the beginning of the series it is seen that Hinata has always supported Naruto, until the end of this, being the only one to risk her life For Naruto to see him defeated in Pain fight, his help could have been useless, but he raised more than Sakura, the only thing he did was shout for Naruto hoping that he would solve everything.

??? Abandoned him? Dude she literally lives with her parents and they were waiting all night for her to return. On top of that in regards to what you said about the pain fight, did you forget that It was Naruto himself that told no one to intervene during that fight, and that most people didnt know exactly where the fight was taking place or the specifics of it because the village was destroyed and a literal blast zone. Hinata was one of the only few who could locate the fight because of her eyes. And then on top of that Sakura wanted to go help in the fight and asked gamagichi to take her, but he followed naruto's orders told her no, and left tusnadae (who needed help) in her care.
