As a total beginner your vids have been so very helpful & every one of your blocks I have made have turned out almost, if not perfect! Beautiful quilt. I've made several of these. There's many ways to skin the quilt cat. To cut down on individual blocks I made some modifications on my production: (1) For the two split rectangles, make 1 Triangle in Square unit. Better yet, make 1 Diamond rectangle as these units are joined at the wide base. (2) 4 HST's can be substituted for 1 square in square block. This works particularly well if there is directional fabric or if you want fabric continuity. The quilt then requires your making just 2 blocks. (And it is best to have trim down rulers to help with this, which I have. It makes production a breeze). Patterns such as this show how striking a two material quilt can be as the geometry (in this instance the lovely undulating squares). Thank you for sharing this striking pattern.
