I really enjoyed the content you put up. This is unique and worthwhile to watch for those of us learning the tournament scene.

You 100% can become top 250, and totally agree with the sentiment at the beginning. As someone who just started traveling out of state, it can be a grind but you only need 1-2 good finishes to move up

Thanks for the confidence 😁 big congrats on making pro rankings yourself after PAPA!

I look forward to following your journey. I'm confident you'll make it to Top 250, which only requires 2 things: 1) The ability to travel to big tournaments and/or being lucky enough to live near a location that frequently hosts big tournaments (like Green Bay, Cleveland, Tempe). 2) Developing your skills. The mere fact that you're analyzing your play and figuring out what you could have done better means you'll get there. And these clips show quality play already. Don't worry about knocking someone out after you've already advanced. It's part of the game and when it happens to me, I've never been upset at them -- I should have played better. I'd be more upset if someone half-assed their "meaningless game" and it affected who advanced.

Super looking forward to following your journey and learning from you. I started playing in spring of 2024, only two local IFPA tournaments so far, but won my second and looking forward to more growth. Wishing you the same!

Good luck on your journey. Enjoyed listening to the commentary over gameplay and your thought process...Cool to see the DPC, too... I'd like to check that place out sometime... so many great spots on the east coast to play. Not sure how much of a drive it is for you, but keep an eye out for Spinners in Frederick, Maryland when it reopens (hopefully before 2025 ?). Part of their plans is a giant dedicated tournament spot and they had a killer assortment of pins (40+ and soooo many of my favorite 80's Williams tables) at their previous and much smaller location. I imagine there will be an even larger selection of pins and some great events coming up.

I subscribed. Pro Ohio player here. I wish you well on your journey. Its ok to feel burned out at times. Its a struggle, even for me still at 10 years in. Not sure if you have pins, but look to buy a game!

No pins due to nearly all income going towards rent and tournament travel 😅 I have been saving all my tournament winnings so I'll have a machine eventually!

Might be interesting hearing about your practice routine.
@NightlitePinball2 ай бұрын
I don't have any machines at home or much "practice time" available, but I am participating in a monday/tuesday league and go to a weekly where I'm just focused on playing with purpose! I try to get a baseline level of knowledge for any machine I'm not aware of at upcoming bigger tournaments through the pinballvideos website, and just generally play in as many different spaces as I can. I don't think you need an intense practice routine, but I'd certainly love to hear if other tournament players have them!
