Time has flown by - you’re so right about nostalgia hitting hard. I feel it too mate. 2008 was an extremely good time for me, for many reasons on a personal level. Playing this is kind of bittersweet in a sense.

Walcott needs to be over Lennon in Starting 11,saved Big Steve's job. Ashley Cole would be benched, but who do you have Warnock, Baines maybe. I bet you want the Israeli GK to have English passport, cause he is far better than all of your GKs just based on this match alone. Next Andorra, maybe rest and experiment with the squad. You haven't faced Russia yet which is weird, but that was a really good side. Zhirkov,Akinfeev,Pavlychenko,Pobrenyak and ofc Arshavin who was great during Euros 2008 and earned his Arsenal move.

I prefer this to FIFA 08 personally. Both good games but this has more of a ‘fun factor’ to me, FIFA 08 feels more serious.

I like how wide and high some of your shots this game and last game went, guess means shooting is varied and feels realistic, not too assisted.

Exactly that mate, shooting is very satisfying in this game.

The skin tone of the player models is too sallow, they have dead eyes, and the body shapes are malmorphic. Overall, this gives the impression of them looking like corpses in morgues/the living dead.

Zombie genre was big about that time tbf, good tie-in by EA, kids love zombies!

I know this is being played on the 360. But is there any difference in quality on the PS3 version? Also, has anyone played the PS2 version of this? Is it any good for gameplay? Cheers

PS3 version is pretty similar to the 360 version. I have played both.

PS3 version is very similar as Dave says. PS2 version we’ve featured on this very channel somewhere (I think!)

In Euro 2008 qualifying, the top 2 from each group qualified, no playoffs, so 2nd would be enough for you.
