Stfu about league. Say anything bad about rito and you make yourself a clown at this point. They are one of, if not the best gaming corps who actually care about their games. Yes it took league really long time to develop and stuff, but come on don't pretend we all didn't have 3rd party software/websites with a record my game button. Rito just allowed the community to do its thing. But later on when the rules became stricter (removal of 3rd party reskin programs, yes they also were allowed. You could freely reskin your player model, which many people abused to play with skins for free) they had to change it.

VAC (and most other anti-cheat like BattleEye etc.) use a kernel-level driver, you can find that easily online however you can also just look it up on your computer. Open your console and use querydrivers to see a list of all kernel-level drivers on your PC. There will be quite a few :)

Well it could happen if they change something in the ranking system and they don't write some code that specifically prevents this from happening. For example in CS:GO when they did the rank apocalypse in 2015 or so, you would lose a couple of ranks simply because Valve decided that there were too many people in high ranks and that they needed to adjust everything. I can't remember exactly how Valve did it but basically they'd have to write code that says "only adjust the rank of the player after a loss". If they didn't you could indeed derank from a win.
