This may be controversial but I'd actually LOVE to see a guild/clan/team aspect implemented into a competitive shooter game. Wouldn't change anything in game besides maybe clan tags next to your name but It would add a whole new level of community and depth. In game clan chat and everything, and it would help people not have to solo q cause you could always see online clanmates and q together.

little explanation to riot ranked experience: you have 2 types of rank: your real rank and your mmr: your rank are the points you gain and lose on win/loss and mmr is based on performance like k/d. your mmr influences your point gain/loss in ranked; meaning you can lose 2 and still rank up on the 3rd as your mmr says that you belong in a higher skillgroup

Yeah Gold is absurdly inconsistent, it feels more like the MG ranks. You have the Gold Nova bots and the LE/DMG demons who lost their rank. In Valorant, you have the ranked up Silver noobs and the old Plat/Diamond players who got placed in Gold, all converging into one giant mess.

I watched this vid as soon as it came out, and I tried maining KAY/O in Valorant for the following days. One of the challenges that came was the timing of the flash grenades, as I was extremely used to the flashbang timings in CS:GO, resulting in many instances where I ended up blinding myself and my teammates. I also agree that the signature ability needs nerfing. Even if it doesn't hit, you get info, and if it does an immediate site take from the enemy would be shut down. They'd be forced to rotate (thanks to the movement speed, it's not gonna be that quick) or dedicate to a site with defenders on the ready.

The sprays are random but they drift left or right, and up consistently. So if you follow the tracer rounds you can actually react to the pattern and control the spray that way, even transfer it. I've seen top level players do it. It's less memorizing a pattern and more reacting to the gun; although there is still an overall (or general range of) behavior a given gun will exhibit.

I think eggwick made a video about how SoloQ works. You can be well above your rank in skill, but no matter what you are going to automatically lose 40% of your games because your enemies are far better than your teammates, you are going to automatically win 40% of your games because your teammates are far better than your enemies, and the other 20% are evenly matched games. Especially in gold/plat after a reset you get a lot of people that were several ranks above you in the last act and got placed super low because of the MMR system. They could be on your team or the enemy team, but there's one of them in almost every game.

Warowl, the rank system in Valorant right now honestly kind of sucks. There's a hidden mmr system designed to help you get back to your former rank, or to hinder you from ranking up any further than the hidden mmr says. It's just Unrated with extra steps.

but you can change the mmr by winning/losing? its just means you dont lose or gain rank from playing really well 1 day or really bad 1 day. and you dont get stopped hard, like at worst you gain +10 when playing way above your rank and if you are good you get bonus so +15

The Reyna in the first match knew where WarOwl was and prefired him because of Sova's recon arrow. People need to understand that Sova's recon arrow shows your location for about a second, giving enemies a lot of information about how you're moving while you're pinged. There's really no evidence that the Reyna was a hacker (at least in the video).
