Now this KZbin channel is out of the snow and ice of New Orleans! OK, OK, this video is from August, when blizzards were available only at Dairy Queen. :)

Great drive! Is all the snow that you guys have all gone now?

@@RoadsOfAsiaBen mostly. There are still some elevated highways that are closed and haven’t been cleared.

2 comments and a question: you went through about a quarter of Maine and all of New Hampshire and Massachusetts, during which I-95 was six or more lanes wide. With the back end of this video you get a northern Maine vibe with the 4-lane format. In Rhode Island we have also encountered interchanges with US 1, RI 2, 3, 4, 5, and US 6 - a nice sequence of single digits! And now the question: every so often I saw a gantry that looked like an electronic toll collector but totally unmarked. Is Rhode Island planning to toll I-95 or are those speed cameras?

@@waltersaul1807 that’s explained in one of the later RI videos. They set up a toll tag system for commercial vehicles only. The truckers sued and had it shut down. They haven’t gotten around to removing the equipment.

Come to think of it, I thought there were no 4-lane segments between Portland, Maine, and Petersburg, VA, considering how busy the NE Corridor is. Guess Rhode Island has one, wonder if there are other 4-lane segments on I-95 between now and past Richmond?

@@afayuk- I suspect that this 4-lane format makes it to Connecticut’s Exit 91 just “north” (east) of New London but we will see in the future videos! I am also curious about I-95 in the North Philadelphia area where it leaves the New Jersey Turnpike at the beginning of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. I thought that there were at least some connecting ramps that had only two lanes of I-95 in each direction. Fasten your seat belts!
