Thank you, Kyle. That means a lot coming from an old pro of the genre like you. Subscribers would be nice. However, the main idea behind starting my channel was to try to be creative and document some of amazing places that I get to go. I've gone too many places in my life that I have no record of. This is an attempt to change that. Maybe I'll get subscribers over time, but in the meantime I'll just keep doing what I enjoy. Keep up the great work on your channel, and I'll see you on the road.

A very, very beautiful drive. Thanks for sharing!! The view of the road disappearing up into the mountains at 23:30 is one of the greatest I've ever seen!!

(The southern tip of Death Valley; low altitude of 900 ft.; very hot, but that Greek place is worth it.) 23:00 Holloran Summit (2,986 ft.) 31:00 Mountain Pass (4,730 ft.) 35:30 On the left, Ivanpah Solar towers “heliostats” that use mirrors to focus solar energy on boilers. They are about 500 ft. tall. 37:00 Nevada state line. Going the other direction is where the State of California shakes you down for fruit. 37:10. Primm, NV. Bonnie & Clyde Museum. (2,618 ft.) 43:00 Las Vegas Valley.

Since I *used* to live in San Diego and now live in Las Vegas, I cannot count the number of times I've driven that BORING 140+ mile stretch of highway. Not to mention the "speed-freaks" who pass you at 90+ mph. I put the cruise control on 70 and move in/out of the left lane as needed, and I get passed by everything else who look at the SPEED LIMIT as merely a suggestion. I NEVER see anybody pulled over by CHP/NHP. In fact I rarely even SEE police on that road. Trips to San Diego to visit relatives/friends are on hold due to insane gas prices.

I enjoy the desert, but that drive is uber boring. There are much more scenic areas of the desert.
