I think you are rushing this car's oil level checking, and if it needs oil, it'll let you know. The last time I poured oil on my f30 was in early October 2024, only that 1L oil and I went to East London (about 1100km a single trip) from here in Gauteng and back without refilling, and the oil level was and still half. These BMW cars are not the problem, it's us owners. You expect the worst? You'll get it...

i normally wait for the notification but whenever the engine oil is low, my engine idle is noisy and i prefer to drive long distances with max oil to avoid bearing knock

@@politicsclipsThe other problem with other BMW owners is that they take the stereotypical negative information from people that owned the older poorly maintained BMWs from more than 15 years ago. The latest BMWs don't have the same problems and if the oil is getting lower the car will make sure that you know cause you know a BMW reports everything especially in winter it will beep just to inform you that the weather outside is -3 degrees Celsius. And please remember it's better to have a little bit less than having more than a maximum level 🎚️ cause that causes serious damages. Maybe am talking from a perspective of a diesel engined BMW maybe they don't use oil the same way. Cause in my 520d I travel up to the time I do it's service every 15000km and the time the car will notify me of the oil is when I just did a service and over filled the oil above its maximum level. My car is more than 8 years old now and I never had problems with it. I buy all its replacement parts from Goldwagen.

If you drive long distances a lot, the Diesel version might’ve been better. I have the diesel version of this car and when I drive carefully, a full tank could get me from Pretoria to Oudtshoorn (~1,200km) Also don’t stress about the oil man. Mine doesn’t need to get topped up more than about once or twice a year. On top of regular changes of course

Drove from Rustenburg >> PE >> CPT with an Audi Q5 for my usual Dec family vacation. The car was fast, extremely comfortable and I enjoyed driving on the Garden Route (PE >> CPT). I then got a new Mazda 3, not fast like Audi but the thing is so damn reliable and fuel efficient. The first time I went to PE was with my older BMW E46 330i, miss that hooligan. Once before you die, you need to face your fears and take this long drive because it's worth it.

I have 2 cars one is 9 years old & the other is 5. I’ve never poured any oil in any of them because I service them annually. So I’m I missing something here or maybe you service your car yourself or it’s just a Bima thing? I will be doing CT >PE>GP>PLK on Sat. Cruising at 100km/h always saves me Juice but it requires patience. Nice vlog by the way.👌🏾

There are MANY missing parts in this vlog... You should have started vlogging the minute you left home until your 1st gas station, the amount of Tollgates you spend, including the amount of money you've spent on refreshments... That information is NOT there... You should have recorded until you arrived in Cape Town, and include even the amount of money you've spent where you're spending your days in Cape Town, including the time of arrival...
