Thank you, thank you , THANK YOU! for telling us where you are fishing. There are many great fishing videos on youtube but the location is rarely mentioned and I assume this is on purpose but I don't know why. For folk like us living overseas (Scotland in my case) I can now visit these spots on holiday. Cheers

I used to do a fair bit of Seagull Kite fishing in Batemans Bay when I lived there. I’d use half pilchards from the banks of the Clyde River, in shallow water for Flathead. The pesky Seagulls would spot the bait and dive in and hook or tangle themselves. Easy to remove and release. Another quality video Robbie thank you mate. 👍🏼👍🏼

Thanks Jeff. It was the same on the Ovens River here in Wangaratta when I was a kid. It's amazing how things change.

G'day Robbie. You're in my neck of the woods I see. I reckon another 5 or 10 degrees in water temperature will fire things up a bit. And I'm hoping the multitude of small reddies I caught at the Basin last season will have grown a bit. I bet you couldn't hit that seagull again if you tried. Another great sunset.
@robbiefishing9 сағат бұрын
Haha thanks mate, I definitely couldn't. LOL I agree about the water temperatures. Bring on some warmer weather.

That’d be bloody right , the great man goes to green lake and gets sunshine and a gentle breeze to rustle his hair a little and catches a few fish in a few short hours and what do I get for 2 days ? 40 klm gales with gusts up 65 and rain and cold that’s what , fish ? Ha ,one tiny Redfin that the worms ambushed and had by the throat , had to use a sinker that was that big the lake level rose two feet when it landed, watched a swan flying in one spot for 20 minutes before it had a heart attack,bloody wind, nice one Robbie

True about trout fishing being horrendous so far, going to head up owards Bright and try at Ovens and Kiewa rivers in October. Hopefully the luck changes by then.

Word up Homie! Liked the insight into how the DJI camera detaches from the headband and the tip about the lower frame rate as conditions get darker.I would love to know what "relaxing tunes" you listened to on the way home! I am tipping Canibal Corpse or Pungent Stench 😂

Haha thanks Homie. I switched from GoPro to DJI a few years ago and have never looked back. You might be surprised to hear that I was listening to gospel music. Haha I still listen to a lot of metal, but I mix it up a lot with more positive times these days. LOL

I thought you had to kill Redfin not put them back? That’s the law in NSW
@robbiefishing8 сағат бұрын
Hi mate, that is just a myth started by greenies. It's not illegal in Victoria OR NSW to release redfin. In both states you are allowed to release them back into the water in which you caught them. It IS illegal to be in possession of live redfin though. You've either got to kill it, or release it. You can't keep it alive in a bucket.
