You should go back and spend some time in Cape Breton. The Cabot Trail is an incredibly beautiful drive.

Flew out from Vancouver Island to see Nova Scotia. Cabot Trail was okay. But it certainly wasn’t world class. Meh.

@@RoadTripTravel if I came back I’d do the lest touristy stuff, Meat Cove, the Ovens, Three Sisters, etc, and I’d rent sea kayaks. Maybe be there for Clam Bay sandcastle weekend. I guess driving down to Chetticamp was fairly spectacular but not like the westcoast Oregon or Big Sur further south. Of that. We read all kinds of tourist add copy stuff about fishing villages along Tangiers, etc, on the marine route 7 but it was hugely disappointing.
