That is a huge square nut you found this time. It may have come off of a large park maintenance vehicle. Just like your other hardware finds. The Hall of Human Life coin is from Boston. That's a long way from California. A lot of good finds on this trip.

All of those 2 tone and 5 tone programs do it ! Hunt in prospecting theme ! Especially at the beach! It is designed to make the small targets louder. That way you don’t miss the gold clasps on chains!

Your tot-lot videos are perfect refreshers for me to start doing them again after 20 years of beach-only detecting. Learning from your experiences, I'm going to use my reserve Nox 600 w/6" coil, 1/3 length scoop, & 'carrot.' Now, to go super early to avoid 'concerned parents' who don't like to see lone adult males in 'their' parks.

Sounds perfect... I do find the 6 inch coil to be the easiest around the metal but it does take longer to clear the entire tot lot. But heck, what is the rush anyway...lol. Good luck

Thanks... For the most part, we save all the nice stuff like rings for a minimum of a year. I figure if someone comes forward and can prove they lost it, we would like to be able to give it back. We do check local sources for lost reports on the really nice stuff. The most recent gold ring with the emerald was claimed by my sister...lol. But I told her the same thing... you can have it unless we find an owner...

I just found a rusty chainsaw chain and two rusted blades for a lawn edger in a tot lot. All three pieces were found within about a foot of the outside curb that holds the wood chips. That's the kind of thing that will force me to do the edges whether I think it's a good place or not.

You Did get Skunked Bill because I didn't see any Kind of Tent Stakes on the Video and I have also noticed that the X-Terra Pro will do that with the volume but I have noticed that it's going to be on a Deep Target, but as soon as I uncover the Dirt from the top it will start to be a Normal Response but Every Detector is Different but Minelab is the Best Thing That I can Afford Right Now and the X-Terra Pro ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤......
