Road Trip! PRLC TV Takes A Trip To The Land Cruiser Heritage Museum

We hit the road in episode 80 to pick up some unique vehicles from the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum in Salt Lake City, Utah. I visit with Land Cruiser Legend, Dan Busey about what's happening in the museum. There's always something going on, and currently, Toyota is borrowing a couple of vintage Land Cruisers from the museum for photos and video to help promote the new Land Cruiser 250. Then, I take you on a tour to talk about some of the Land Cruisers there that I have personal connections with. Learn a secret about the Expeditions 7 VDJ78s that Proffitt's built for an around-the-world expedition. See the BJ73 that we raced in the ARB Outback Extreme in Australia. Hear the story of a Delta Mini Cruiser that I found while overloading in Eastern Europe. And see a couple of restorations that Proffitt's Resurrection Land Cruisers built just for the museum.

Dan showed my brother and me around the museum in the fall of 22. We were bringing my FJ45 just like that dark green one home to Texas on a Dyna . Great guy! This was fun.

I will be heading from Michigan to Northern California in the fall, will definately stop by the museum on the way back. Won't be driving a Land Cruiser but a Tacoma with a slide in truck camper instead, you know, use what you have.
