Thanks for the 3-part overview of the ID Buzz. Been looking forward to this car for YEARS now, so good to see it in action. Unfortunate that VW obviously still has some work to do on the software side of things! This car should be a big hit for them and they need it badly!

in the present case it is not possible because the crack has gone to the outside of the windshield with those small cracks and it can no longer be repaired

Depends the position, when not in front of the driver they repair.

Does the front windscreen have a transponder opening? Most vehicles with electric wire heated windshields will usually have a spot where you can put a vehicle pass, so that the wires don't block out the transponder signal. I've seen them at the top -behind the rearview mirror , and low - near the drivers left corner.

All level 2s in North America have captive cables. To me that just seems so much better than making you bring your own hose to the gas station.

I sometimes wonder if their method of BYOC is better. People get careless with cables when they don't own them, and often times stations are down because of damaged cables. So I wonder if we'd get a lot less downtime if people brought their own cables which would eliminate one major component that can malfunction at the station.

@@Locke-k7x Fair point, and it also lets them add a socket to every lamp post in older city areas where everyone parks on the street as private drives and parking garages don't exist.

A fun car, but apparently the heating device is not enough to keep the car warm in the winter. A Finnish technical magazine tested the car in the winter and found the car to be cold..😕
