Join us on our road trip to gorgeous Gaspé in Québec, Canada. Gaspésie is part of the maritime region of Québec. It's an incredibly scenic destination full of stunning nature, unique wildlife, delicious cuisine, and friendly people. In this video, we begin our 10-day road trip around the Gaspé Peninsula and get off to a fantastic start. After flying to Québec City, we make our way along the mighty St. Lawrence River, through the charming town of Kamouraska, before ending for the night in Rivière-du-Loup.

I have become a fan of yours only recently but I have already been hoping you'd not abandon travelling for good therefore so happy to see you on the road again. Even more happy for you to bé able to show your audience a bit more of Canada and Quebec in particular. Such a great idea too that the Quebec Tourism approached you (as tu would seem) to work on this project which is sure to be a win-win. Besides being extremely friendly, enthusiastic and open-minded travellers you are also very empathetic, well-informéd and well-spoken and these last three qualities are sometimes a bit lacking among other Canadian vlogers (whom I love all regardless). I wish you continued success and as for the rest of Quebec... Tadoussac, Lac Saint Jean, Quebec City of course, Lac Magog ( and countless others in the area), the Laurentian mountains and so much more. And of course the city beyond belief that stars with thé letter M that nobody needs to be reminded of. Other than that because I was tearing up a bit when I saw your réaction when you found out Antwerp was liberated b'y thé Canadian troops let me tell you that Bruges/Brugge was as well and we even have a commemorative plaque hère. As well and FYI there are plenty of WWII graves of (mainly very young) Canadian soldiers in many parts of Belgium and Flandres in particular.

Did this trip in 2019...drove from Toronto around the Gaspe Peninsula through New Brunswick and into PEI...fell in love with PEI...5000km well worth it. Want to do it again.

Having just returned from a month exploring areas all over Québec and Ontario, it was such a joy to see both of you crop on my feed again! Gaspé looks so wonderful and I'm definitely adding it to my bucket list for future trips. Thank you!

@@EileenAldis Highlight of Ontario was easily spending a weekend out in at Raven's Knoll Campground with dear friends between Eganville & Golden Lake. It's a beautiful space in the woods right along the Bonnechere River. What a wonderful way to escape the rush of the city after a few days in Toronto. Quebec was simply the food, drinks, and atmosphere of Ville de Quebec during the week leading up to St Jean Baptiste Day; the craft beer, the wines of Ile d'Orleans, the chef's choice tastings at Legend la Taniere & L'Orygine, and melted brie at Maison Livernois. Coming into Montreal by train and seeing "LOVE ME" spray painted on one building and the iconic Farine Five Roses sign (which is set to come down soon) + visiting Pointe-a-Calliere for their Vikings exhibit. Breakfast at Le Cartet Bistro and dinner at Garde Manger. It was an amazing trip and I can't wait to see more of your trip to Gaspe!

@@DanielRWomack That sounds like an amazing trip! You hit a lot of wonderful places, some I've heard of and some I haven't until now. I love arriving to Montreal by train by the way. Last I heard about the Five Roses sign it was being granted special protection so I'm shocked and saddened to hear that it's being taken down. If so I hope they'll reconsider. 😢A Vikings exhibit sounds really interesting and your food descriptions are making me hungry haha. Glad you're enjoying our Gaspé series. Hopefully it'll give you some ideas for another future trip!
