In the USA the do not pick up hitchhikers signs are within 5 miles of a major or high security level prison, so you won’t inadvertently pick up an inmate.

We’ve all had “one of those days,” but they are most frustrating whilst traveling. I’m sure you have ingrained travel habits, but when routine is disrupted and fatigue sets in, watch out!! I’ve enjoyed Aunt Julia so much. Marianne and Julia’s laughter as you were saying good-bye was so similar, I could tell they were related. I certainly have that drive to Jasper on my bucket list. So good to see you and the Indie Project folks together for a good visit. Travel safely!

Hello Ambassadors This was really a nice video. VANQUVER and Jasper has beautiful sceneries. I loved it. We here had to deal with Hurricane IAN which hit us on the west coast Tampa area with cat 4 and left 2.5 million people without electricity and streets were completely flooded and some claimed that sharks have been spotted in these waters on the street. So, I got a chance now to watch the video. Really, I enjoyed the video. I hope the HUM sound from Trudy is not something to worry. Be safe. Sending lots of love from Family in Florida 💕💕💕💕 I🇹🇷🇹🇷🙏👍👍👍

I have been to Vancouver City once and loved it. Was before a cruise to Alaska. Beautiful city. We took a short bus tour of the city and stayed in a harbor-side hotel with my late Mother who traveled with us. Canada is lovely. All of the NW Pacific is gorgeous. Safe travels. Thanks for bringing us along for the fun and lovely scenery. We also experienced camping in our RV next to the train tracks in Williams, Arizona, USA near the Grand Canyon National Park. At night every 4 hrs. or so a train would blow its whistle as it passed through the town.

Great drive & video from vancouver Island & ferry brought back lovely memories from our fly drive trip. Jasper town is very nice also Banff. Whilst in Jasper we looked at the old steam loco by the tracks and watched a freight train swap drivers & pull out we counted 165 flat cars with containers doubled stacked on 70% of them. When your in Banff go up the mountain lift then across a huge valley in the gondola its well worth it. Have fun guys.

Banff and Jasper are not the only towns inside Canadian National Parks. There is also Waterton townsite inside Waterton National Park on the Canada/US border in Alberta.
@TREADtheglobe2 жыл бұрын
Oh if is see the park ranger that told us - I will pass this on !! 😂
@LambyDingo2 жыл бұрын
Interesting that even park rangers forget about Waterton Park and townsite but it is my favorite because it is what Banff and Jasper were when I was a kid 60 odd years ago. Waterton National Park is Canada's part of the International Peace Park with Glacier National Park being the USA part. In Waterton you can take a boat ride that crosses the international border.

Sorry about the ferries! They’ve been terrible this year - they just fired the CEO. The crossing is prettier at dawn and dusk though. The coastline off to your left as you made the crossing is known as the Sunshine Coast. If you remember an old TV show they showed some decades ago called “The Beachcombers” that is where it was set and filmed.

Thank you for not making a huge deal about parking at the Walmart. There's another couple I follow that always have some click bait title about their parking lot experiences, and then all that happens is them showing the fact that other people park or use the parking lot at night for whatever reason. Nothing crazy happens. Other people are simply using a parking lot that exists to be used, but they're all THIS IS OUR NIGHT IN A WALMART PARKING LOT... SUPER SKETCHY!!! And I'm over here like, calm your titties. If you can't handle this you really shouldn't be on the road.
