Yeah you can get real neat ones. Actually that's what my friend's mom did when they were younger instead of spending hundreds of dollars getting them phones. Go to a park? Take a walkie with you and check in.

Watching Evei just relax since the adoption is priceless. I noticed the same with the other adoptions I have been here for. The feeling of relief they must feel is huge. I've also noticed a change with Jamie since she got her name changed. You two have made a world of difference for those kids who didn't know what their future was until you came along. You really should get Mom and Dad of the year. You make their lives fun and have meaning.

Just what I came to say haha. Yep unfortunately when set baits it attracts more ants but they only go to the bait and back home. The secret is to try and find exactly where they come into the house at, and put the baits as close to it as possible so it limits how far they go. But after a day or 2, they'll be gone forever lol

Great attitude Crystal. Pretend you are camping! A suggestions : Before you go, discuss with everyone driving the route you are taking. It is also good to mapquest it before going and everyone having a print out. This is good practice in case your GPS is not working. You probably will save a ton of money to make a snack pack before leaving ! You and Aaron are amazing parents. Bon Voyage.

I don’t see the humor in that situation. She is a child who was sad because she missed her grandma who has passed away and her siblings were probably silent because they were caught off guard and didn’t know what to say but it cut off quickly after she said it so I’m sure they did their best to comfort her but chose not to show it.

We had “Safe Fits” growing up for the seatbelts which were a life saver! You just slotted the seatbelt through the little pouch/fabric, and it rerouted the seatbelt so it sat lower on your shoulder and didn’t hurt your neck when you were short. I’m sure they still make something like that, that would help so much!

I love Crazy Pieces but they are always running late. Some people are just better organizers than others. Plus they have younger kids than Crazy Middles. I think Jared (math brain) keeps them as organized as you can get with 20+ people. I just took a road trip. Next trip, over night bag and suitcases stay in the car until final distention. Too much moving and shuffling and it was only 2 of us!

I know this won't help your ant situation now, but it could help in the future! I 100% recommend the Terro Brand ant poison. You have the liquid, and you put it on a little piece of glossy cardboard (it will come with some already in the box), and it gets rid of the ants. It will be gross at first because all of the ant's swarm, but it works wonders! I hope this helps in the future!

We are on a family vacation for the first time in 12yrs. We had everything planned and every one of our kids,grandkids, and great were coming 20 of us., then our grandson ended up being able not coming as he just got a new job the week we were leaving which he needed to support his family. YES! Using a map is a skill many people are no longer learning. As a long time truck driver, I still use mine along with GPS. Also, many GPS apps have a download feature so if you lose signal the map is still available. ❤

Your family reminds me of our family when I was a kid. After realizing a block away from home that we left one of the twins at home, who was an infant, my parents assigned us numbers and we counted off when we got in to the car. That worked great until we started hiding our cousins in our car to sneak them home with us. I remember us sleeping 5 girls in a double bed. It seemed like it was always a party!

We used to have crazy ants issues. For the ants what you bought does it more long term. For short term, I've found that the spray kills on contact or the pellets with the smell deters them and whatever gets taken back to the pile kills the queen. I hope that airBNB did something to adjust your cost for the night. (Can't wait to see the whole crew board the ship and the kids hopefully open up their tastebuds a little more and try more new things.)
