This generation of Mercedes quality is laughable. It's bad across all the German luxo brands but Mercedes is particularly egregious. And ironically the Mercedes are usually the most expensive in their class and the least reliable.

A good friend has IT as AMG GT 63 s e Performance F1 edition. The most brutal Launch i ever felt in my Live yet. (Btw he is 24 and has 9 Cars. Stuff Like a MC 20, 992 Cabrio, Lamborghini huracan perfomante, Maybach GLS680, M4 and on and on )

I was kinda excited until I heard the awful piped in sound. I don't understand why more auto manufacturers don't do something like what Lexus did with the LC. But that interior, I will say, looks very nice indeed.

But 1 question is why is it that in USA, no one respects lane discipline like staying at the right lane unless youre overtaking? if possible u can make a video out of it maybe. this car weighs 5507 lbs / 2498 kg, its heavier than the new m5 and no body mentions that or hates on it as much as they do with the m5

Because this wasn’t a light car from the beginning, the F90 M5 was a bit lighter at around 1865Kg. The new M5 is almost 500kg or so heavier than the old model

@@makko7275 id say it's pretty impressive that it has a bigger battery than that merc and manages to be lighter, considering how heavy all new v8 hybrids will be

@@makko7275 A 6 kWh battery might weigh around 80-100 kg (175-220 lbs). An 18.6 kWh battery would weigh more, roughly in the range of 230-280 kg (500-620 lbs). m5 would've been much lighter with the same battery as that merc

I couldn't care less about the 800+ hp. This thing weighs about 600lbs less than an Escalade V and it literally seats half as many people with half the height and about 2.5 ft shorter. Did I mention that the escalade also has a body on frame construction as opposed to the monocoque chassis of the GT63? Also the V can tow north of 7000lbs. Yeah... the only vehicle that has more unnecessary mass than this is the new M5.

This second facelift doesn’t look good at all. Also, it seems Benz’ build quality is still terrible. I had a pre-pre-facelift X290 63s and it was amazing. But the build quality still sucked even then.
