Personally I think the X6M rides great, for what it is. I think some forget that BMW makes 2 other softer versions, so why make this one soft as well? It wouldn’t be worth the upgrade at that point.

Yep! It all makes sense once you get it out on the track. Plus the M60i has the same engine, so you’re able to get 80% of the performance from that car anyways. Like I said at the end, I absolutely love that this car exists, and when BMW uses an M badge they mean it.

Agree. I’ve had the luxury of owning an M3, M8 GC, and now an M3CS. Have an X6M on order. If you like sports cars then the BMW M models suspensions are tuned appropriately to be a daily driver and more.

Honestly, with how aggressive these M models are, I’d personally rather just get an M60i version and tune it for full M power levels. But obviously that comes with its own pros and cons. Alpina versions of the X5 or X6 would be really cool to see imho

Dealers near me are often stuck with an X6/X6M for months. They just don't sell. The only reason the dealers have them in the first place is because BMW forces them on the dealerships. All in accordance with their franchise agreement, of course. At least you got to see what the full "M" vehicles are about. I've had the latest generation X5M on the track at Thermal, CA a few times, and it truly is amazing for what it can do.

I never got why the X6 exists. It looks like an SUV, but it doesn't have the capability or utility of one. It's basically just a hatchback with a high center of gravity. It would handle much better if it wasn't trying to look like an SUV

That’s probably because you don’t sell them, I do. X6 Clients are totally different from X5 Clients. Usually they are younger buyers who prefer the looks more than functionality. It’s the same type of Client that would prefer the 4 Coupe over the 3 Sedan or 8 Coupe over a 7 Series.

However you have a 4 series instead of the standard 3 series. Why criticize something when you don't have the status quo. The 4 series and X6 goes against the status quo. It handles noticeably better than the 3 series, and has a hatchback with flat folding rear seats - which is a very useful plus over a sedan. The X6 on the other hand doesn't seem to have any advantage over the X5. Maybe take that stick out of your rear end and read a post properly next time, before looking like an idiot lol
