The Aethos was developed as a bike for all the non racing riders out there. With a frame weight of only 585 grams, the total weight of the complete roadbike can be less than the 6 kilograms. The Aethos was designed for the pure joy of riding roadbikes and with this in mind, the engineering team brought out an absolute lightweight machine. We, the roadbike channel thought about tuning this beauty a little bit more and talked to the best carbon manufacturers and fanciest companies in the industry. Please enjoy our version of the lightest disc roadbike out there. Thx to Schmolke, SRM, Schwalbe and Continental for making this project happen.

I miss road biking so fucking much. End of 2018 I got smashed by a car that blew a stop sign @ a 2 way stop intersection. 100mi rides, 900mi tours, was training for the dirty kanza. I don't think I'll ever trust drivers enough to ride the roads ever again, I couldn't walk or talk right for 100days and it was all brain injury. Didn't know my name for 8 hours after impact. I ride all of the very very few mtb trails near me when its dry enough but its a slushy muddy winter at the moment. I miss riding thru the city late at night Stay safe everyone and always spend more $ on lights. I was lit up 2 whites 2 reds but apparently not enough

Cooles Video.

Exactly 1270 grams for the wheeset (and doing the best to hide it is without disks!). That means almost 1.5 kg for the wheelset, I can build 990g tubular wheelset for $600... Then you don't need the fancy outageous shmolke carbon parts and can ride with a real saddle...

This bike was really easy to assemble kzbin.infoUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

@roadbikechannel
@roadbikechannel 2 жыл бұрын
