this game is underrated. it's superfun to play with family. you can even do team of 2v2, parents vs kids. cool that you give this game a spotlight. it needs more love.

Good news! This game is even better than you think because I'm pretty sure you did get the rule wrong about respawning. I don't think you ever have to miss a turn. You simply respawn on your next turn. Maybe you have an older version of the rule book which is less clear on the matter. This game is just silly fun.

Great review, as always. Looks as if it might be a reasonably good gateway game for anyone getting into the hobby. Anything that has a simple rule set is always a good point. Whilst watching your review it reminded me of Vikings Gone Wild, not sure how many similarities the games have? I like the fact that the game encourages conflict form the outset, something that a turtle, like myself, isn't to keen on. Informative as always. See you next time!!

Light and fun time. Good for a closer game at night or something light on a work night. Glad i got the all in post-KS. Loved the toy factor greatly. Does need some work done on the tiles, such as a better quick reference sheet for the expansion tiles, or at least for the tiles to have one side printed with iconography detailing its effects.

From the rules respawning doesn’t lose you a turn I don’t think? After you have respawned you still play your cards as usual so you shouldn’t lose a turn no matter who knocks you out?

Pretty sure you remove your robot until the start of the next players turn. Maybe I misunderstood that the next player could be yourself but then the rules don’t make that clear.

@@BoardGameBollocks It says on your next respawn phase so to me that’s your next turn. Thats how I’ve played it and it works really well. Takes away one and a half of your dislikes away!

Agreed. That’s one of the best things about this game. You respawn as soon as it’s your turn again. And until it’s your turn, your robot remains off the board, so players have to target someone else instead of attacking you over and over.

@@BoardGameBollocks Great review, but yeah ,I think the rules only say you just can't use any Start of Turn powers from your cards. But I think you still respawn during your turn. That's how we've been playing it, which sounds fairer.

Totally agree about the shop criticism. Being able to clear the shop for x energy or even a health or x vp would be welcome.

Once of the expansions added a robot and cards that allow you to sift shop cards but ya there should be some sort of option in the base game as well...

@@BoardGameBollocks Maybe it was just my playback but it seemed like a tiny cut in audio and video was made at the end of every sentence and it gave a strange artificial feel to it. The power went out here not long after (and it's still out) so maybe it's something to do with my link today.
