the laundry basket test or whatever real life cargo test is a MUST for CUVs/SUVs and minivans. the specified dimensions from manufacturers really don't tell the full story. i like the beer keg test myself.

I think this was her best review, so far. she was able to be engaging without being over the top. She's not as cliche as Ross Rapoport and has more of a personality as well. I hope they keep her....

Love you Emme -- good job. I have told my sister about you because she's the one who purchased the Kia Sorento. She had the Soul before the Sorento, which she really loved. But it was to small for her. She up-graded and now all is well!

Great video and clear description of the car features; fine review from Emme. I was hoping for future test, a comparison between popular midsize/compact suv's w/ similar warranties (i.e. Misubishi Outlander, Sorento GDI I4, & Santa Fe).

For a very similar vehicle I think I'd buy the 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe. I just like the look of it better. I know it's pretty much the same as the Sorento as well.

Hey, Charlie, legend has it, probably the better part of a year ago, Hyundai was considering either shutting down or selling Kia Motors some time in 2011. I'm assuming they're not because of vehicles like this one -- plus the fact that they just opened a new factory not too long ago. How much of this rumor is true??

Hello Em, Kudo's is right to Hyundai and Kia showing all other car companies how it's done. Who would of thought? I loved your Video as always. I know you said your test mule cost around $36,000. As I guessed $27,000 cause of the name tag stigma. But after researching the car at Edmunds.com I saw the vehicle starts at under 20K That's amazing. And I just wished you would of mentioned that tiny tid bit. That's a whole lot of Vehicle for under $20,000 and Nicely equipped for under $30 with V-6

@TripleXXX8700 "Top Gear is entertainment, not a review show"?! I decided not to buy a Tesla specifically because of the battery issues brought up in Top Gear's review. As Clarkson warned, the repair bills for my Veyron could fund several third world countries, but the luxury and power are more than worth it. And as soon as an FXX appears on eBay, I'm jumping on it, based on their test track results. Entertainment indeed! Now lighten up Triple Triple X 8700.

@45barber1 Well I drove this car and I have to say I was delighted. Absolutely no complaints. But if you have money go for Grand Cheroke any day. In my opinion it feels little more superior (ofcourse more price). The guy was quoting me 28K for a sticker price of 34 K with all kind of stuff (infinity audio, chrome wheels, lcd/nav, V6, rear seat entertainment system etc etc). So pretty good deal. It just boils down to personal preference. I am 100% sure this car is great with great warranty.

im ifey ifey on kia......I fell in love with the look of the Forte but when I got in it I hated it instantly because it was cramped and very cheap and plasticly......but when I got into the Soul I still loved it......it was just as I though and more.......the Surento is a great vehicle but for a little less I can get a basic version of a truck......I want the Kia Soul to bad I got a Pontiac instead because it was cheaper.

@flexor212000 they are actually pretty realiable my mom has a 2007 kia sportage with almost 80,000 miles and we never had a problem with it. We have had more problems with my dad's 2008 ford focus

@Boodieman72 The basket thing is just her practical way of measuring of how much crap you get into the boot, it's kinda logical, the boot can have like lots of capacity but it may be a crap in terms of how practical it is (i.e. too wide and short or vice versa). And she just likes sunroofs, who doesn't? If you don't like her then don't watch her, geez
