You were right about the tavern at the beginning, it's the same location as in "Ding" (at least the same "village"). It's called LARP-Dorf Bogenwald and is a LARP-location in Germany. It was also used for many other songs like "Pray to the Hunter" by SaMo and "Meister der Minne" by Feuerschwanz

Fabienne's character is Fenrir, a wolf, the illegitimate child of Loki and Angerboda. Saw Eleuveite on tour last month in Worchester, Ma. Fabienne was awesome and Adrienne Cowan from Seven Spires and Jukka Pelkonen from Omnium Gatherum did an awesome job filling for Chrigel on the harsh vocals. Love this video. Feuerschwanz never disappoints!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Seeing Tank tear up while listening to great music (that's not even sad) makes me feel so much better, because I'm the same. Voice-layering and istruments playing well together just hits different. Music is fucking emotional, and I will never not love this all. also - I'm impressed with how well they made the wolf-fight look, given that in their making off they said the "problem" was that the wolfhound was way too sweet and just wanted to dig around in the snow, cuddle and awoooo. :D

Feuerschwanz have really been knocking it out the park from their last few albums (I mean even the earlier stuff is great) and this one is no different, absolute banger. Great to see this band starting to trend more and get more eyes on them as they are amazing. I really want to see a Feuerschwanz gig but they are still yet to come to the UK :(

Haven´t gotten any tickets for this year because i bought way too may festival tickets and my bank account didn´t like that all too much. Dude, love this. I really hope they do a US tour soon. I pre-ordered the 2-disc edition after I saw that they have a new album already! I already know in all-in on anything Feuerschwanz since I first heard them on Ding (which then led me to your reaction video and through Feuerschwanz I found you). Since their marketing cycle for Memento Mori started, I now own Methammer, Das Elfte Gebot, Memento Mori, and the Die Letzte Schlacht bluray which I can only watch on my Xbox because of region coding lol I love this band, their music hits something inside me that's just... that thing, you know? It's that rare thing, but I love it, and they are such a fun group!

I like that you say "European Tour" and all dates except two are in Germany with the other two in Austria. I live in Sweden and am contemplating going to Germany just to be able to see them, but at the moment I might go to Feuertanz which is their own festival in Germany apparently. :) Just hate that I appparently was at Wacken one of the years they played there but I hadn´t heard about them at that time so they where unknown to me, started listening to them the year after or so.

You should go check them out, they're not quite as heavy, as much of their influences were Grunge bands (AiC mainly), but still I'd love to see a reaction to them, as musically they are fantastic.

Okay,just to explain the video a bit.. for those who don't know, it's based on norse mythology. Both Fabienne and the dog represent Fenrir the wolf,the son of Loki. During Ragnarok,the end if the world,Fenrir unalives Odin,portrayed here by Hauptmann,and later gets slain by Thor,pkrtrayed by Ben/Hodi.

This song is a straight up banger! I really should be listening to more Feuerschwanz, although I really enjoyed their cover album, "Todsünden" (dennoch, _mehr_ Feuerschwanz!). I also thought about Rammstein's "Moskau," and if memory serves, I think they partnered with t.A.T.u. for that song. I also couldn't help but think about Fabienne singing in Hochdeutsch rather than the Schweizerdeutsch she'd be more accustomed to, and how much of an adjustment she might've had to make. Then again, I'm pretty sure she speaks English as well, so Hochdeutsch is probably no real stretch for her. And when you mentioned how she filled in for Chrigel on Eluveitie's tour, I was thinking that she probably did Chrigel's harsh vocals as well, as she's done some harsh vocals in some of their songs ("The Siege" from the Helvetios comes to mind). If she did indeed do the harsh vocals on that tour, then that's quite impressive, to say the least. I hope she works with Feuerschwanz again, and perhaps she could do some harsh vocals, too!

Speaking of Hans. Their song titled Hans is hilarious. I'm thinking of going on to listen to that song after this video. It always makes me smile. I discovered them (Feuerschwanz) years ago on a fantasy fair and their music was no way near this heavy. It was way more fun and upbeat and clearly a parodying parts of Saltatio Mortis songs. I think they still might be here. SaMo also has songs called Loki and Odins Raben (Odin's Ravens) that are similar to this one except I feel like this song is way less serious on the mythology part since it's just about the Fenris wolf being a bastard von Asgard where the SaMo songs actually dive into the myths stories. Then again, Feuerschwanz never has been that serious with their music. They're probably more serious about the quality of their music than about the actual lyrics. Even their band name isn't serious.

May be just anecdotal evidence, but most of the time I've relied on the release date info in video descriptions they turned out to be incorrect. I remember the last Dynazty release where the video descriptions said it would release in April, and it would go on to release in August. You can go back to your Advent reaction to check this. :D I mean, no biggie, shit happens and an album release isn't exactly life or death, but if you (i. e. the record label) already know your release date might not be final yet, you might as well not put it in the video description.

As for the new camera, my thoughts are this, there is a trend where the camera is setup so the person is in focus, but the background is Out of Focus, I humbly ask PLEASE PLEASE Do Not Do This, please keep everything in focus, having more than half the screen out of focus makes watching any video unnecessarily hard.
