1. Album of the year.. hands down. ( And I'm a massive nightwish fan) 2. There has never been a real threat to metallica other than testament, and these guys are basically what metallica should be, with a real drummer and real aggression.

Couldn't join the livechat for some reason my chatbox kept loading but the video worked fine. Redfog is another turbo neck-breaking banger of a song from their second EP, since I think you've heard most of the tracks off of Nija.

This was the first song I ever heard from Orbit Culture, and they absolutely BLEW me away. For as many plays as I have on some other records this year (Beneath The Massacre, Cytotoxin, etc.), this album quickly became my #1. The whole album, and this song, are killer! I also appreciate the facts that you add in the video every now and then. Good video!

Not only is our country proud but also our hometown. Eksjö represent! Make sure you look at the videos before this on in the right order seeing it's a trilogy of songs with a story. So "Nensha" then "Rebirth" then "The Shadowing". You should make ONE video covering the whole trilogy :P And save the live recording of "North star of Nija" for another video :D

Completely agree with you on the Metallica-thing (even though my love for metal started with Metallica (and Iron Maiden and Entombed). And I can't imagine Lars Ulrich doing this much work this accurately on drums. This is absolutely brutal, and the more melodic parts actually make the brutal parts even more impactful. @TankTheTech ~ Thanks for this review. I think I heard a previous review of Orbit Culture and I liked it so I wanted to see this one. Good stuff. ------- In regard to your comment about this versus Metallica, I think (for me) it purely depends on WHICH Metallica we're talking about. If we go Kill 'em All, Master of Puppets, and Ride the Lightning...yes, it would be almost blasphemous to put anything above that. But after Ride...Metallica is still good, but it's considerably less so. ----------------------- Gonna use this post to ask you to review something from Nailbomb. Know I've asked a few times and I do remember you saying you'd check it out, but I'm just plugging it again. Nailbomb was a 1 time thing and it was some of the very best stuff. So, I'm excited/eager to see/hear you review it for gear, performance, and sound. Have a good weekend!!
