@mementomori28392 жыл бұрын
Yeah they're deathcore but this newest album is pretty versatile as far as they go. It has alot more nu-metal influence than anything else they have done. It also has alot of two step rhythms as opposed to their older stuff so its more hardcore leaning. Nu-metal/hardcore tinged deathcore. But yes, deathcore. Usually here I'd list some bands that compare to them but this new stuff is pretty unique. Maybe check out Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza or Despised Icon, possibly even old As Blood Runs Black for hardcore-leaning deathcore. It's somewhat similar.

As much as I love the band, the way Alex is so interactive with the fans, including watching and commenting on the reactions is what really sealed the deal for me. I love how much he appreciates fans and how much he loves seeing people reacting to and enjoying their music. When he posted that video about Kostolom being #1 on Spotify and all the other music platforms and talked about how being in a band has been his "big fucking dream" since he was 15 years old and how grateful he is to all the fans for everything really hit me how different he is. More bands should take note of the way Alex interacts with the fanbase, Slaughter is big enough that he doesn't have to do any of that, nobody would expect him to but the fact that he still does I think is incredible.

Hey just wanted to say hi. And that I just discovered your channel. And I'm loving it. How honest you are and talking about all the behind the scenes things with live shows and all. I was in a little nothing band in Utah for a few years and went nowhere.lol but did see a lot of the way things work and how hard it is just to put on a show. Even a very small one in a little shitty bar. Can't even imagine all that goes on with big bands. I have the highest respect for the crews that take care of all this. The bands really couldn't do it without people like you. And we were so poor that we didn't have any crew whatsoever or all the tech that could help us do a better show. If we did we would have 100 percent taken advantage of that. Because with us having to set everything up and check everything and do our own sound checks with no crew to help. So by the time we went on for our small 20 min or so set we were so drained that we couldn't really put in the show we wanted to. So of course we went nowhere. So just wanted to say hi and thank you and all crew members for bands. They are so underappreciated. I've been to hundreds of shows clear back since 81 when I was 10. And have always realized it's the crew that does the hard work. To put on a night that the fans get to get away from their daily lives and just get lost in the music. Sorry for the long comment. But I'm just loving your channel and your knowledge and honesty. Thanks. Keep it up!!!
