ever had an air bag go off in your face? You read the warnings about children, animals and aged in the front seat. Then go and drive into a tree at , say. 20kph, with an airbag. People have been damaged by them, even when they are NOT faulty. TV and VIDS do not show what it's like when they go off.

That's where we humans start getting uncomfortable by default, you can train that away, I'm comfortable at 40°, and I've been down to 55° a few times from necessity(I know I can go that far, but it's a bit unnerving, and I've almost crashed from my peg grabbing hold of an imperfection in the asphalt and causing a wobble).
