I saw DEICIDE in a defunct titty-bar venue about 15 years ago. The bouncer was a friend's friend who let us in for nearly free. They made the pit at the Slayer concert I went to look like kid's playing tag. We repaid his favor by helping him sweep up all the teeth after the show.

Glen probably thought the evil warrior look dressed in knights’s armor was a good image for the band…. and it works. Throughout the 90s and early 2000s he’d dress up in armor on live shows sometimes…. But I don’t think he’s done it for years now. This video is from 2005

He's usually holding a bass and standing in front of a mic stand. The angle of his neck is all over the place here because he's wilding out. He traded vocal control for antics.
