Interesting. I fell in them during self titled release and discovered everything backwards. I personally think self titled is fucking killer. Rob's riffs and solos really went next level on self titled. They did on TIOR too tho. But yeah. Hail chimaira 2023

Cam Par this was the first thing I said when I heard that song. Machine Head went on tour with Chimaira a bunch of times. Robb Flynn appears in the Chimaira DVD and Matt DeVries appeared in the Machine Head DVD. So I know they are aware. Could just be coincidence but it’s even got the same drum pattern and everything.

Nah they just weren't playing to a click. In their later days, they started using a click track more, though, I think. Back in those days, it was pretty normal to just jam the music all natural live, and with that comes the adrenaline, and the tempo rushing, especially if it was a song they had played hundreds of times. I know I did the same in my early days, too. Haha
