But at both ends of the spectrum, it remains one of Australia’s most stunning and dramatic rides and one that brings with it a host of challenges and hazards specific to these roads.

The Snowy Mountains 🏔 Highway 🛣 is a beautiful 😍 scenic drive through Forests 🌳, Valleys and Mountains 🏔, it’s a single lane Highway 🛣 Through Valleys it’s Sea 🌊 Level through Forests 🌳 it’s 50-100m about Sea 🌊 Level and through Mountains ⛰ it’s 1100-1600m above Sea 🌊 Level with a speed limit of 100km/h through the Alpine National Park 🏞 which has an elevation of 450m but no trucks are allowed to use this road it starts at Cooma and ends at Holbrook Route B77 it links the M31 Hume Motorway 🛣 which is a triple lane Freeway 🛣 from Geelong in Victoria to Sydney in NSW all trucks must use the Hume Motorway 🛣 which has a speed limit of 120km/h both no traffic lights 🚦 Hume Motorway 🛣 mostly sea 🌊 level but elevation 500m Goodbye 👋

I've been riding the Snowies for thirty five years now, mostly with the brother or now my son and it's always magic, even when the weather is less than clement. Certainly some of the best riding roads in the country. Thanks for posting this series of videos.

You should do the Jindabine to Tumbarumba to Jindabine its stunning! it loops through the lakes, mountains, high country alpine desert, to apple orchards and then climb north via hydro scheme its 2 day knock out ride.
