I converted both of my Evos to points ignition and have been very pleased. I carry a spare set of points, condenser, and voltage regulator when I venture away from home. Excellent video.

Yeah all the electric start bikes will now have either ultima or dyna tek ignitions, we had extra’s at the house. Points are simpler!!

Duct-tape, Zip-ties, Wire are a few good things to carry with you. Good video. Side of the road repairs definitely suck, especially in Florida where i live. 85-95 degree weather.

Oof yes, that makes it worse cooking in the heat trying to fix things. I definitely added some new bolts, nuts, and wire to the tool pack for future use. LoL!

The best part of the video for me is eating the grilled cheese/burger with greasy fingers. Reminds me of me lol. I was in my garage eating a sub with oil covered fingers and my wife came out and asked if I was gonna wash my hands? I looked her in the eye and just dropped my sub on the garage floor, picked it up and continued to eat it, she looked at me and laughed And went back into the house.

My middle Son is my Wild Child & is around your age range. He`s a Biker that could keep up with you. He even talks about moving to Colorado, the crazy !@#$%! Me, I`m retired & 65+... I put in my hard times & now I DO have AAA, so there, so what? So, I`m just a metro BikerGal around town these days, but Tampa Bay IS a large area with lots of fast roads as well as TONS of dive bars & year round Bikers biking. I think about taking a long ride, but with a 40 year ol' Ironhead & these ol' bones, who knows? I mean, it`s not like anything bad could happen, right?

No bike payments, and no depreciation. Can you imagine the budget for fixing up the shovelhead if you took the equivalent of the depreciation of an M8 ? You can basically rebuild top and bottom end every year, or buy a new gearbox.

Yes we swapped out once we got down past the forests in arizona, about 1800 elevation was time for bigger jets. All had super e’s on different size motors so worked out we had all the sizes we needed!
