Hey Troy, I was lucky enough to land a Gorgon months ago. I love it. Indeed, I went thru the same process. These little rigs take a lot of abuse and are SO fun! Thank you for the video, hopefully there will be more Gorgon folk around soon!

Dude the Gorgon is the most fun I’ve had with an RC yet. I’ve got a bunch of brushless cars, even got a brushless 2wd slash, still doesn’t compare to the fun of this 2WD rig! Honestly 2wd is a ton of fun

How awesome. Same noise after my son bashed it in the skate park.Took the whole thing apart. Could not find a thing, started looking on YT and found this video and behold. Took it apart for nothing! Haha. Thanks for the video!!

Help! it just stopped working. Like no power in the car. Is there a video for basic electrical fix. Thank you in advance.
@RoadsideRC2 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, there could be MANY options for what is happening here. 1) The battery is fully charged? Double-check. 2) Replace the batteries in the controller. 3) Ensure all wires are connected. It is easy for some to come unplugged.

THANK YOU!!!! I KEEP HAVING THIS PROBLEM. This damn truck just keeps giving me issue after issue. I'll play with the mesh. I've also got a new spur gear (it was like 5 bucks). I think the mesh being off might cause it to wear badly
@RoadsideRC6 ай бұрын
Yes - poor mesh will 100% make it wear badly.

@RoadsideRC turns out tiny rocks can get stuck in the gearing just at the bottom cleaned it out and went 4x4 on the vorteks see how it works if I lost to much speed I will gear it

That motor shifts when you hit hard head on. Has happened to me several times, just have to adjust it back the way it's shown in the video.

Hi, I’ve managed to strip out one of the motor mount screws and now with every little knock the pinion slips, any tips for a fix? Many thanks
@paulmaldonado70399 ай бұрын
My motor burned out, not sure about brushless 😢 messed up my voltage and servo.
@RoadsideRC9 ай бұрын
Interesting. Usually a motor burning out wouldn't have any impact on a servo. You may have something else going on.

I'm having the same issue but for some reason one the screws will not come loose to adjust it

looking to get one can you gear it up a few teeth on the 2s lipo for a lttle more speed

Yes! You sure can!

I have this exact sound but the mesh is perfectly fine. Bizarre. Ran at the track 3 times, it's noisy but zero problems. No clue.
@RoadsideRCАй бұрын
Interesting! You may want to tear it apart and find the issue before it gets worse.

I’m not finding many spur gear options for the gorgon . Does anyone know spur gears that cross reference or whole Slipper clutch sets that will work With the Gorgon ?
@RoadsideRC3 ай бұрын
Hot Racing makes a steel spur - that is my plan if/when I ever strip the factory spur gear. This is it: alnk.to/1N2ARKV

Hey Troy,? will a 3s battery on my gorgon speed it up? Vegas Paul here 😎
@RoadsideRC7 ай бұрын
It sure will! It will reduce the lifespan of the factory brushed motor as well - but brushed setups die rather quickly in bashers anyway.

I would hand tighten the motor screw to "feel" the tightness i dont trust drivers with that you cant have a feel. Its either too tight too loose or just right but you dont really know.
