Great video. Thanks for putting it up. I am a dealer for these bikes in Colorado. Had the opportunity to take one over to Moab, Utah and ride it on some challenging, terrain and highways. Fabulous. It is amazing. The weight, the balance of the bike, easy shifting, excellent clutch. this is a bike that is going to replace a lot of big heavy metal.

Thank you!! I now have 500km on it and I’m appreciating it more and more!! Euro 5 version is really corked up… but come people are saying that changing the airbox and getting a regular ECU, seems like it will be a pretty good compromise for most people. Cheers! ; )~

Great bike everyone is loving it in Italy too. We already have good riders buying racing and winning Rally raid on it as well as amateur buying it and using it from enduro like trails to just cruising and commuting. Is it the perfect bike ? No it's not ! But it does so well whatever has been designed for and that's amazing.

Hello Günter! Yes unfortunately we don’t have that many (I’m from Regensburg). I also thought about moving to Portugal. But next year I’m riding the TET on the Kove for like 6 months. I’m super excited! But at first I’m going to test it in the Dinaric Rally this year. We will see 😁

@@SoloRider_pt obrigado amigo!!! A mota transmite uma sensação de leveza brutal!! É provavelmente a mota mais bem equilibrada que já andei!! Distribuição do peso em ambas as rodas parece ser perfeita e o centro de gravidade está no ponto!! Transmite muita segurança e convida a entrares muito rapidamente em posição de ataque!! Mesmo que não vá muito depressa, o que a torna muito divertida!! Se não fosse tão alta, até para beginners sera recomendável!! Mas estou mortinho para terminar a rodagem e destrangular o motor!! Abraço! ; )~

If you use the kill switch rather than the key it should maintain the ABS selection. Obviously this only works for periodic stops along the way. I don't mind at all that this came from Kove, a rising tide raises all ships

I have seen people reporting issues with the temperature gages and other stuff when you do that… and I also noticed on my bike that the battery voltage goes down pretty quickly, when I don’t shut it down completely… 🤷‍♂️ I have also seen some guys found a way to switch off the ABS with kill switch, but I believe it will disable both front and rear ABS and I’m used to ride with from ABS on, when off road. Maybe someone will come up with a better solution, eventually… ; )~

Speaking about oil…..at 500 km the oil was clean, almost no magnetic debris. Both mesh filters clean, even took the fine filter apart to analyse….nothing really :-)

Vivo fora de Portugal e tenho uma com cerca de 2 meses e 1000 km feitos em off road. Está agora na segunda mudança de óleo e para já supera as minhas expectativas. Sugiro calibrar a roda da frente para diminuir a vibração causada pelo Rim Lock que sentes no guiador em estrada.

Fantástico!!! Eu para já vou fazer os primeiros 2.000 a andar aqui perto de casa, não estou muito preocupado com o comportamento em estrada… Eventualmente optarei por uma mousse à frente e Tubliss atrás… mas logo se vê. Abraço e boas curvas! ; )~

Obrigado! "issue in the clutch", would you kindly report back (with a video?) how you track down and fix this "issue"?

It seems like the clutch has to break in as well… so, we need to let this mature a bit before we can make a conclusive video. For now, for now, we swapped a steeper angle clutch lever and readjust the cable so he have more slack. It seems like it changes quite a bit as the engine gets warmer, so we give it a few more clicks during our rides. It’s basically been improving with use. Hope this helps. We’re entering a tarmac events season here in Portugal, so we probably won’t be making many videos about the Kove until September, or so.. Cheers! ; )~

São diferentes! Fora de estrada, esta é francamente superior!! No asfalto… acho que esta não consegue ser tão boa… mas não é uma diferença tão grande como fora de estrada!! Tenho que fazer mais quilómetros para ter uma opinião mais conclusiva! ; )~

@@GoncaloS199 a 690 stock... eu não acho que seja uma boa mota fora de estrada... A 690 é uma super motard e a KTM mete-lhe uma roda 21", umas suspensões mais compridas e chama-lhe enduro. Quase toda a gente que usa a 690 para andar fora de estrada acaba por aumentar o curso à frente e rebaixar a traseira, para melhor equilibrar a mota para andar fora de estrada... o problema é que fica estupidamente alta... As 690 que são boas para off road, deixaram de ser feitas à muito tempo... e agora, se quiseres uma, o Lyndon Poskitt vende-as reconstruídas e modernizadas, por €40.000...

@@GoncaloS199 está nos planos um mega comparativo com as 4 motas de aventura que temos cá em casa! Mas vai demorar tempo a realizá-lo. A diferença para a 690 fora de estrada é mais que óbvia e bastante grande!! Na estrada, a 690 parece-me ser superior, mas a diferença não é tão grande. É a minha opinião. Vale o que vale…
