Thank you for this. We stayed in Yaiza for three weeks so very helpful. I would also add Restaurante Casa El Barba, Playa de Papagayo in the South. Excellent service, cheesecake and paella. But you have to travel by dirt road.

A very useful and atmospheric post. Hoping to go to Lanzarote soon - as a seafood lover I can't wait. Last time I went, I ended up in naff pizza, grill & pasta joints because I simply didn't know where to go (this was back in the day when you couldn't just Google something - no internet access on your phone back then!) Mind you, we love Asian food and there were some very tempting Indian restaurants in several parts of Lanzarote (where the British crowds gather). But I think travel is about experiencing local food, not the same food you can find at home. All the best!

Tienen q probar dos restaurantes buenísimos la próxima vez; Tacande en Aria y el risco en caleta de Famara

Gracias, quedan anotados, pasamos por la puerta de los dos. El Risco lo descartamos porque en un día sin viento lo que apetece es estar al aire libre, pero sabemos que está en todas las listas de recomendaciones de la isla. Acabamos comiendo al aire libre, justo al lado.

Thanks for the excellent video. In Spain, do you always have to order a full course meal when eating out? I don't eat much so an appetizer is enough for me. :P

No, you don't need to order a full course meal, you can always order a la carte, no problem at all. If you don't eat much, you shouldn't feel forced to order food you are not going to eat. All the best!
