Hemet Lake first time I remember catching trout...Lake Gregory after that 1970’s...now I’m all over the Sierra, or wherever I can go. I use 4# test minimum myself..

Yeah it's the same fish the county lakes in the valley were getting... Prado ect. Nice fish, good fight. Should be planting every 2 weeks until June. Good news for those lookin' to get some fishin' in. Nice job up in BBL BTW

For trout? This time of year isn't good by shore as a whole...There are no trout plants right now. Boat it's possible to pick up a few fish trolling the lake. They begin to stock in late fall, once that begins I start covering it weekly reports through my patreon fishing report page.

99% of the time it's Thomas Lures.

@@mr.unknowncali-life9350 if you throw Thomas lures you want to make sure you're casting them really far and give them a chance to come in near the bottom... Typically I default to a 5-second count before I start reeling after a cast. Make sure you're casting in different directions just like Bass. A lot of people reel in Thomas spoons too fast... Slow down to the point where you're just not getting hung up on the bottom but you're still moving forward. Good luck out there make sure you change spots often if you're not getting bit
