I was prompted to listen to this after hearing about a current court case where two men have been accused of trying to sell unreported treasure trove of Roman gold coins. I very much enjoyed your narration, Thank You

Seems like a theme to many of Dahl’s stories, how dubious operators cheat themselves by being a bit too greedy.

Yes, it is a regular theme. And it reflects certain traits that humans have quite well, don’t you think!?

@@lewiskirk8289 Thank you for introducing me to Roald Dahl. I'm surprised I hadn't heard of him before. What a splendid person and a great life he's led. He reminds me of a friend of mine who travels the world throwing himself into every situation and always landing on his feet to the benefit of everyone around him. I'm the opposite type, a mole who is loath to leave my comfortable borough. Your reading of Dahl brings him to life for me.

After you say THE END you should say " NEXT BOOK WILL BE __________" It will create more suspense for the next book and thus more subscribers altogether😀

I think Lewis does very well, and he has given us many stories for nothing. So by all means say 'there is a different reading', but do your best not to be insulting
