The feral rod can be a nice tool to have, but I always have a bic much easier and more reliable. I’ll look at all the others as back ups

Bic is a winner go-to, but when it gets below freezing they don't work very well.

I like this tent BUT the base price is $2750, the two windows on the sides are extra, so is the floor, and even the magnetic screen door at the front. If you want adjustable legs on the stove, extra. BTW, the stove isn't standard either, but is $450.00. Total as this tent is shown is close to $4000.00. That's a hell of a lot for a 10x15 ft. canvas tent.

Expensive I agree. Awesome and well-designed tent though. Will last forever!

Cured the stove in the tent, the fumes permeated the tent, good luck getting the smell out of that tent.

Didn't leave a smell. Thanks for watching!

During the Civil War, many of the generals lived in such things

Probably a lot fancier than what most of the troops slept in!

I think this tent is way over priced. There are much better deals on better tents IMHO. I especially liked how you avoided showing the top of your flue until the very end and only from a distance because you couldn't figure out how to get the spark arrestor on the top. Would have appreciated a little honesty there.

Pricey, yes. But in my experience I haven’t come across a more thought out and better designed tent. They thought of just about everything. And I didn’t put the spark arrestor on at all in this video…. didn’t gloss over it, I just didn’t do it. Sorry you felt that wasn’t honest 🤷🏽♂️ Thanks for watching 🔥

I think an inflatable tent is the way to go-this looks painful to setup.
